Carolina Crossroads Right of Way Acquisition
Right of Way Acquisition
Part of preparing for the Carolina Crossroads Project involves the purchase of property to accommodate the expanded and improved interstates. SCDOT has already started acquiring right of way and will continue acquisition through at least 2023. SCDOT will acquire part of or all of numerous parcels as shown in the chart to the right.
The Acquisition Process
Property owners or residents who have not yet been contacted will be assigned a right of way (ROW) agent. The agent will contact them as acquisition moves forward according to the Phasing Plan. The agent will answer questions throughout the ROW process.
